Bass Fishing Hog Brag Board

The Bass Hog Bragging Board is where you can do some bragging about your catch by having me post pictures of your Bass Hog.

Use my contact form to receive the email address to use to send your pictures to me.

Sorry about the extra step but like you, I try to eliminate receiving junk mail from the mailbots out there.

When you get the return email from me, include the following:

Your name, location fished, weather conditions and the date your bass hog fish were caught.

I'll be happy to help you have fun bragging about your luck out on the lake.

Keep The Hooks Wet!

Justin Seale closing in on the family title. I better watch out!

Bass Caught On Chartreuse Booyah Bleeding Buzz With A Gold Blade - Justin Seale

Looks like my nephew, Justin Seale, is ramping up the pressure on me and Matt.

Justin caught this 6 1/2 pound beauty in a water temp 60-65 in 3ft of water around 7:30pm on a chartreuse booyah bleeding buzz with a gold blade.

As Justin put in his email "BOOOOOYAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I think that means he is looking for the family title.

Rookie Bass Angler, Darrin Hillis, Landing A Nice Bass Right Outside His Office

Catching Bass Outside Your Office

Darrin Hillis is another bass angler newbie who looks like he'll be learning fast especially with him having access to a lake right outside his Cordova, Tennessee office. It sounds like my kind of office.

Darrin caught this nice bass on a ultra light rod early in the morning using a Chatter Bait.

Rodney Henke Getting On The Bass Hogs

Rodney Henke On The Bass Hogs

Rodney Henke is about to do some work on my roof and saw that I was into Bass fishing and was interested in going with me. I think he thought it was one of those fish stories.

On a day he came by to inspect my house I told him to be at my house on 11/22/09 at 9:30am and I would prove I do not walk the walk or talk the talk and was prepared to back up what I write about.

I got up early Sunday morning to make sure that I had everything ready and at 8:30am Rodney pulled up.

The sky was cloudy and overcast and I was not sure that I could hold up my part of the promise that I would put him on some fish. The only thing I had in my favor was we had a low pressure on us and that should make the fish move.

We arrive at the lake to find that the surface temp was 55 degrees and the outside temp was close to the same.

Well, after two hours I think I sent Rodney home happy that we got on the fish and do not let the picture fool you. I did catch some, but was more interested in making sure he left a happy angler...not to mention he picked up a few tips on how to throw a Bait caster.

I told him as we parted to keep the hooks wet and practice.

Erin Gregory showing the results of hunting the bass hog just right

Erin Gregory - Bass Hog Pic

Erin Gregory, a new Bass Hog Hunter, displays her first of many Big Hogs to come.

Girls, look out...we have another Girl that could be looking at the WBT (Womens Bass Tournament).

Erin's first big bass caught was 6 - 6.5 pounds using a live minnow in the city of Richmond. The Air temp was 63 and the water temp was about 55. I'm told her and her boyfriend fish here a lot using Spinner Baits and other lures.

I'm putting out a Challenge to Erin....I have caught two 11 pounders try and beat my record and send me the picture.

Great job and Keep The Hooks Wet.
